General Advice
We strongly recommend avoiding bringing a car into Dublin city. O’Neill’s is within walking distance of most major sights, with bus, train, and tram terminals nearby. The airport bus and city tour bus pick-up points are directly opposite us. If Dublin is the first stop on your Ireland trip, consider renting a car when leaving the city rather than bringing one into the centre.
Discounted Parking for O’Neill’s Guests – Park Rite Fleet St
O’Neill’s has partnered with Fleet St Q-Park to offer our townhouse guests affordable overnight parking in the heart of Temple Bar. The car park is just 700 metres (a 10-minute walk) from O’Neill’s Victorian Townhouse.
Discounted rates for guests:
- €19 for 24 hours
- €12.50 for overnight parking (6 PM – 8 AM)
- €4.20 per hour for shorter stays
- Multi-day tourist rates are available. Please call the car park directly to arrange.
How to Get Your Discounted Parking: Take a paper ticket when entering the car park. At check-in, ask our staff for a discounted parking ticket (guests arriving on Sundays or Mondays when our bar is closed need to let us know in advance). Before returning to your car, go to the pay station in the car park lobby: insert your original car park ticket and then insert the discount ticket. Pay the discounted rate before exiting. Instructions are printed on the discount ticket.

On-Street Parking
Metered on-street parking is available beside our pub on Shaw St. The rate is €4 per hour, and the maximum stay is 3 hours (you must vacate the spot afterwards). There is free parking overnight from 7 PM – 7 AM and all day on Sundays and bank holidays.
